Carlo’s Turntables

Leveraging my 1000+ vinyl collection to create 4+ hours dj-set filled with anything that inspires me from spiritual jazz, nu-jazz, electronic music, house and world music.

I just thought I would share all of my playlists I create when I have a gig to select and play vinyl sets.

They mostly last around at least 4 hours and may contain more tracks from the same record as I need to be able to bring them with me in my UDG dj bag. They also are put together so that I can mix them on my Mastersounds Two Valve mixer, so tracks from the same record are never in sequence.

Both selecting these sets and playing them live for an audience is a super cool experience. As far as I am going deeper into AI and Generative AI, this is on the opposite side completely manual selection starting from physical records.

By the way, Thanks to Chicca Vancini who allowed me to play at Ailime’, a location that embodies a cool mix of Japan and Emilia for food, drinks, culture and art.

Thanks to Giorgio Valletta to be a continuous source of inspiration for new music.
