March 12, the big divider

It seems our life and maybe even history will be now split between two periods, before March 12 2020 and after March 12 2020.

I was researching google trends for sports term and have wrote another blog on the subject (see here) but then I ended doing some more searches just for fun. What seems a constant is the date of the search trend discontinuity, Match 12.

I saw three patterns: down valley, up logarithmic, peak.

Here are some examples, I will leave it to you to extract the rationale for each of them, some are quite revealing.
